Day
1: Arrive Delhi
Namaste! Welcome to New Delhi - the capital of India. We are greeted the
traditional way and transferred to our hotel.
Overnight
Day 2: Delhi
Day tour of Old and New Delhi, Moghul and Colonialists created capital,
includes Jama Masjid, Red Fort, India Gate, Parliament Buildings, Birla
Mandir, Gandhi memorial and experience the bazaar at Chandni Chowk.
Day 3: Delhi / Mandawa (Drive 260kms / 160miles)
We drive towards the colourful Rajasthan visiting en route the famous 1755
built, majestic Mandawa Castle. We wonder the many halls of the palace and
castle to experience the royalty of the enchanting bygone days.
Day 4: Mandawa / Bikaner (Drive 200kms / 123miles)
We head for Bikaner - a high battlement walled place and a typical
Rajasthani city.
Day 5: Bikaner / Jaisalmer (Drive 333kms / 205miles)
This is India's most exotic desert town. It gives us an excellent glimpse
in the desert lifestyle of Rajasthan.
Day 6: Jaisalmer
Our tour of this town includes the Hill Fort, 12th Century Jain Temples
and Lodhruva - a one time capital of Rajasthan.
Day 7: Jaisalmer / Jodhpur (Drive 287kms / 177miles)
Our scenic drive to Jodhpur includes visits to interesting Hindu and Jain
Temples at Osiyan before reaching the edge of the Thar Desert - a good
opportunity to do some Camel Safari.

8: Jodhpur
An interesting tour of the hub of Rajasthan to include the massive 15th
Century fort, the magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mandore and local
villages.
Day 9: Jodhpur / Rohet (Drive 40kms / 25miles)
Drive to Rohet, a 16th century Rajput stronghold followed by a village
safari to glimpse
Rohet's most colourful rural life.
Day 10: Rohet / Kumbhalgarh (Drive 150kms / 93miles)
An interesting drive to Kumbhalgarh, high in the Aravalli Range where we
visit the the Kumbhalgarh Fort and the the aesthetically built Jain
temples of Ranakpur.
Day
11: Kumbhalgarh / Udaipur (Drive 125kms / 77miles)
Continue to the famous lake city of Udaipur, the "City of
Dreams" often referred to as the most romantic city in India. En
route visit the interesting temples of Eklingji and Nagda.
Day
12: Udaipur
We start the day with the superb Jagdish Temple which is noted for its
elephant-motif carvings, and the grand City Palace which overlooks Pichola
Lake and the Garden of the Maids of Honor. Afternoon free to enjoy the
romance of the city.
Day 13: Udaipur / Kota (Drive 325kms / 200miles)
Drive to Kota, visiting en route the spectacular fort at Chittorgarh. Time
permitting we visit the Madho Singh Museum which houses a fine collection
of miniature paintings.
Overnight.
Day 14: Kota / Jaipur (Drive 246kms / 152miles)
Morning drive to Jaipur, visiting Bundi en route. Founded in 1342 it lies
well protected within the ranges of the Aravalli Hills. It has been said
that Bundi is deliciously behind times. Visit the Chhattar Mahal, a
stunning palace fort. Arrive Jaipur in the afternoon.

15: Jaipur
The capital of Rajashthan is the most colourful city in India. Our tour
includes a royal savor on an elephant back ride to Amer Fort Next is a
tour of the city with its famous pink colored buildings, unique
architecture and colourful bazaars.
Day
16: Jaipur / Agra (Drive 235kms / 145miles)
Today we depart for Agra, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri. Built by
Akbar around 1570, this is probably the best preserved Mughal city in
India. Continue to Agra.
Overnight.
Day 17: Agra
We first head for the immortal Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jehan in memory of
his wife Mumtaz Mahal,followed then by a visit to Agra Fort, tomb of
Itmad-Ud-Daulah and the city. Afternoon free to revisit the Taj or to
explore the bazaars near the fort.
Day 18: Agra / Delhi (Drive 204kms / 126miles)
Later this morning we leave for Delhi, stopping en route at Sikandra to
view the 1613 built tomb of Akbar. Dinner at a typical Indian restaurant
as we bid farewell to Rajasthani India.
Overnight
Day 19: Depart Delhi
After what will have been a majestic way to see and experience royal
India, we bid farewell as we are transferred to the airport for our flight
back home.
